Meaning of "Activate only if available"

Description

What is the meaning of the "Activate only if available" checkbox on the config dialog?

Does that mean Away-on-lock should do nothing on screen lock unless the current IM status is "available"?

That label needs clarification.

Yup, that's exactly it. But it doesn't need to be the default "available" status, any equaly "available" status will suffice.

Awayonlock doesn't touch the status if it's invisible or offline, but otherwise it will gladly change your "away: not home" to "away: just out of the table for a few minutes", which might be an inconvenience, depending on how you use it.

Unfortunately I can't think of a better way to explain this in the short label. Any suggestions?

(It appears I'm not receiving email notices from Trac when there is activity on bugs I've filed. The email address in my preferences is correct.)

Yes, the major problem with the line as-is is that "available" by itself is vague. So:

Activate only if current status is set to available

That should still fit the dialog.

(Thanks for the heads-up, Trac was really not sending emails to bug-reporters.)
